Day 1: Arrival

Arrival to Yerevan. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: City tour

National Museum, Matenadaran – the world’s largest repository of Armenian manuscripts, dinner.

Day 3: Drive to the Armenian plateau

Saghmosavank (13 th century) – monastery of the Psalms, Amberd fortress (10 th century), Haghpat monastery (10 th century) and Sanahin monastery (10 th century) – UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Day 4: Armenian Switzerland

Visiting the monasteries of Goshavankh (12th – 13th centuries) and Haghartsin (10th and 13th centuries), combining nature and architecture.

Day 5: Along the Silk Road

Selim (Orbelian’s) Caravanserai – height of 2410 meters above sea level,
Lake Sevan – one of the largest freshwater high-altitude (alpine) lakes in Eurasia,
Khachkar Field – the largest cross stone field in the world (9-14 th centuries).

Day 6: Wings of Tatev

The ancient cave village of Khndzoresk, enchanting landscape of Vorotan Gorge, Wings of Tatev – flight with the world’s longest (5752 m) reversible ropeway to the village of Tatev with its famous monastery complex.

Day 7: Wine trails
The oldest Wine Cave (6 th century BC), Monastery Noravank,
Khor Virap – as a pilgrimage site with the best view of Mount Ararat

An exclusive acappella concert in the Geghard Rock Monastery (4 th century),short walk in Azat Gorge, visit to Garni Temple (1 st century), taste of tender homemade bread Lavash.

Day 9: Echmiadzin

Echmiadzin (4th century) – the First Christian Church in the World, Zvartnots Cathedral (7 th century), Magnificent View of the holy Mount Ararat, visit to a wine producer, guided tour and wine tasting.

Free time in Yerevan, then visit to the brandy distillery – brandy tasting.
